The late Mr. N. Somasundara Iyer was a Public Servant in Sri lanka and after a long successful career migrated to Canada with his wife. A senior Member of S.T.S.P ,was very much involved in the activities  of the society. fluent in both Tamil and English languages. His main hobby was reading and was one of the members who made use of the Society Library. A senior member of Peel Senior Tamils  Benevolent Association was very supportive and interested in it's progress. He was the 15th in line whose demise has enabled the payment of the Death Donation Benefit to the Beneficiary as enshrined in the Constitution.

       Date Joined the Association: 04/09/2012.
 
The Late Mr. Paramanathan Sinnakutty was a  Public Servant in Sri Lanka and served as Medical Laboratory  Technician in the  Department of Health. He served in various parts of Sri Lanka and after a long successful career migrated to Canada in 1997.In Canada worked as a security Guard for couple of  years until his retirement and was living with his children till his death.
A founder member of Senior Tamils Society of Peel and also served in the Board of Management. He was instrumental in Organizing the Walk-A-Thon in 2003 together  with Mr.  K.Varapragasam . A senior member of Peel Senior Tamils Benevolent Association, took  keen interest in the progress of the Association. He was the 14th in line whose demise has enabled the payment of the Death Donation Benefit to the beneficiary as enshrined in the Constitution.

Mrs. Pooranam Gunam migrated to Canada in late nineties and was spending her time with the children. A senior member of  the S.T.S.P and P.S.T.B.A she was very active,supportive and was  popular among the members. She had served as a director of the S.T.S.P Board and was a member of the Women's Front. Her untimely Death  was  a great shock to the members of both organisations.  She was the 13th in line whose demise has enabled the payment of the Death Donation Benefit as enshrined in the Constitution.

 He was a businessman in Srilanka and after migrating to Canada, spent his life with his children in Markham.A member of the Markham Tamil Seniors Association  joined our association in 2015.He was the 12th in line whose demise has enabled the payment of the Death Donation Benefit to the beneficiary as enshrined in the Constitution.
