A member of the Markham Tamils Senior Association,Joined the Peel Senior Tamils Benevolent Association in 2016.He was living with his wife and children in Canada, and his  untimely death  in Sri lanka, of Heart attack while on a holiday. His  cremation  was held in Canada.He was the 19th member in line  whose demise has enabled the payment of the Death Donation Benefit to his beneficiary as enshrined in the constitution
