A science graduate from the Peradeniya University, Srilanka and a contemporary of the Late Dr.S. Kumaraswamy, First President and Patron of the Peel Senior Tamils Benevolent Association.He had served in various positions in the public sector and ended as Director of Education of Northern and Eastern Province. Through their intimate friendship, joined PSTBA as a member along with his wife in2012 and was very supportive of the Death Donation Scheme. Fluent in both languages (English&Tamil), as a writer had published a few books on Science. A life member of STSP and had served on the Board in various positions. He was the 20th member in line ,whose demise has enabled the payment of the Death Donation Benefit to his Beneficiary as enshrined in the constitution.
